Hernia
Hernia is a protrusion of organs or other tissues caused by an abnormal opening in the body. Most hernias occur when there is some intestines out through the abdominal wall is weak, so it looks like bumps that can be felt and groped. Hernia can occur groin area, the navel or other parts. There is a hernia that has emerged since the birth, there is also growing in a matter of months or years, but there are also hernias that appear suddenly. Causes of Hernia
Hernia occurs due to a weakness in the abdominal wall so that the other organs like the intestine can be out. Actually is not common for someone to have a weakness in the abdominal wall at birth, usually a weakness in the stomach occurred over time or from surgery incision scars. Pressure from the organ or tissue in the abdominal wall that causes weak tersebutlah protruding organs. Factors that may affect the weakness of the abdominal wall are age, smoking and obesity.

Hernia Symptoms
Hernia can be seen & felt, usually we can feel any lumps or hernias such as swelling of the abdomen or around the groin that can be lost or still appear when lying down or when pressed. We also feel the pain that initially vague but it becomes more clear when on the move, and the bumps are getting bigger.

If the type of inguinal hernia, then a common way to mengatahuinya is to find any lumps around the groin, the scrotum usually be enlarged as well. These lumps are often clearly visible under the skin, and may disappear when lying down but will reappear if you're coughing, sneezing or straining during a bowel movement. Several types of hernias are not causing pain at all, while others may cause a vague pain but can be jelast when doing physical activity.

1 Abdominal / Incisional Hernia
Type of abdominal or ventral hernia occurs when the intestine through the abdominal wall stress out the weak. This type of hernia is often known as incisional hernias because the usual bumps appear on the site contained the previous surgery incision scars. These lumps usually appear around the abdomen.

2 umbilical hernia
Umbilical hernia usually occurs around the navel area & a common occurrence in women during pregnancy or afterwards.

3 Inguinal Hernia
Inguinal hernia can occur on one side or on both sides of the groin or scrotum. If there is on one side is called the unilateral and occurs when both sides called bilateral. Most cases of hernia occurs in this area and usually also more common in men.

4 Femoral Hernia
Hernia that occurs in women around the groin is also called a femoral hernia. Hernia occurs when there is a weakness in the artery in the upper thigh.

5 Hiatal Hernias
Hiatal hernia occurs when part of the stomach and esophagus through the diaphragm into the chest area. Common symptoms are often felt was heartburn or a burning sensation around the chest that is often also called GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). Paraesophageal hernia can occur when there is a depressed ventral to the esophageal side of the chest, resulting in depressed sections so that it can inhibit blood flow to organs or other parts.

Handling Hernia
The only way to cure a hernia is through the improvement with surgery. Until now there is no drug that can treat the condition. Perhaps the word surgery can be discouraging people to take medication, especially if the hernia has not suffered too disturbing, but keep in mind that the hernia is likely to worsen over time and also of the risk of complications for another. As early as possible so that treatment is strongly recommended to be done as quickly as possible, besides consultation with the treating doctor should also be conducted, especially regarding choice of type of surgery you want done.
